Oregon Standard Diploma

Course requirements:

• Language Arts*- 4.0 credits

• Math* (Algebra I or higher) - 3.0 credits

• Science* (at least 2 lab sciences 1 physical/1 life) - 3.0 credits

• Social Studies*- 3.0 credits (suggested sequence below)

• Physical Education - 1.0 credits

• Health - 1.0 credits

• Career & Technical Education/World Language*/Arts*- 3.0 credits

• Electives - 6.0 credits

*= Must be taught by qualified teacher

Graduates- Must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and math.

Oregon Honors Diploma

Students at Metro East Web Academy will receive an Honors Diploma if the student meets all of the following requirements:

1.   Successfully completed all graduation requirements as required by the Metro East Web Academy standard diploma;

2.   Earned a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5;

3.   Earned a minimum of 26 credits;

4.   Earned 2 consecutive credits of a Foreign Language; 

5.   Completed all courses up to and including Algebra 2 or Integrated 3 for math;

6.   Completed and passed the Smarter Balance Assessment (SBA) during 11th grade
