Terry McCall
Terry McCall is owner of Portfolio Services for Government, LLC, a firm that facilitates the selection of investment advisors and managers for local governments and schools throughout the United States. Prior to forming the business in 2008, he was for 12 years the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Gresham. That position followed his 27 years with U.S. Bank, where he was a vice president.
McCall has served as president of the Gresham Area Chamber of Commerce, Gresham Rotary, the Oregon Municipal Finance Officers Association, and chair of the Mount Hood Community College Foundation, the Multnomah County Library Board and later, its Foundation. He was named Gresham Citizen of the Year in 1994. Current service includes chair of the Multnomah County Tax Supervision and Conservation Commission (term ends December 2015), advisor to the Government Finance Officers Association’s national Treasury and Investment Management Committee, and a member of Metro’s Historic Cemeteries Advisory Committee.
Under a program of the U.S. Agency for International Development, McCall has provided pro-bono financial advisory services and training to cities in Java and Sumatra, Indonesia. He is also a US Army veteran, with two tours in Vietnam. Educational service includes the Gresham Grade School Board from 1988-92 and the Northwest Regional Education Laboratory Board from 1991-92.
McCall attended Oregon State University and is a 1983 graduate of the Pacific Coast School of Banking at the University of Washington., and the U.S. Defense Language Institute.
